Progressive construction design using advanced materials such as sandwich shells and carbon composites.
Fuselage of the plane consists of composites sandwich shells where the main construction element is carbon fiber. This ensures the low weight together with high strength and toughness. The main part of the fuselage is 2.45 m (8 ft) wide center section with fuel tanks of total capacity of 75, 100 or 126 liters in the outer part of the stub wings on the center section. Fuselage is connected to the tail parts of classic arrangement. The stabilizer span is the same as center section width, which enables the transport of the demounted plane on a trailer or in the truck.
MAIN LANDING GEAR
Main landing gear consists of laminated spring gear and steering nose gear attached to firewall by bungee cord shock absorber mechanism. Hydraulic retractable gear is an option. In both versions the main gear wheels are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. They are actuated by lever on center console, which also serves as a parking brake.
Are standard – control sticks on both sides, in basic version with no adjustable rudder pedals. The flaps and trim control is mechanical with control levers on the center console.
The basic power plant is Rotax 912, 914 and 915 with propeller from Woodcomp company, EVRA, DUC or MTV.
The canopy frame is made out of carbon composite, which ensures high strength and stiffness. The ergonomic design supports the crew comfort. The inner cabin width is 115 cm (45 inch) which is the most spacious of light sport aircraft category. The acrylic glass canopy made by Weiss company supplies an exceptional visibility.
The basic instrument set consists of air speed indicator, altimeter, magnetic compass, RPM indicator, oil pressure indicator, oil temperature indicator, and cylinder head temperature indicator.
The overall rescue system MAGNUM 601 Lightspeed offers the crew the greatest possible safety – even in extreme situations. There is an ACI-overdraw warning system including stick-shaker (stall-speed warning) on both control sticks as well as stall-strips on the wings. Additionally an optional TRX 1500 anti-collision system warns visually and acoustically against nearby aircraft. ELT equiped.
The two-seat Dynamic WT9 in CLUB or SPEED design is a top-of-the-range modern ultralight aircraft (ULL, ULL600) with outstanding aerodynamics. The use of fiber composite materials in GFK / CFK sandwich construction creates a low cell weight but with a high strength value. The airframe geometry including rudder design and the center of gravity, give this elegant aircraft an excellent performance and yet stable and good-natured flight characteristics. Both versions (CLUB and SPEED) have an integrated total rescue system as standard.
The cruising speed of the Dynamic WT9 depends on the respective engine and equipment (power at approx. 75%) the speed ranges from approx. 110 kt (215 km / h) to approx. 145 kt (260 km / h). The take-off distance can be under 150 m.
The Dynamic WT9 (CLUB and SPEED versions) are suitable for glider towing. The maximum tow load is 750 kg when towing gliders or banner sizes up to 200 m2. These are all factory approved and have been tested. The Dynamic WT9 is a true all-round plane, which has a wide range of aviation uses.
Whether in the CLUB or in the SPEED version – the MTOW of 600 kg makes the Dynamic WT9 capable of carrying a large load. Empty weights can range between 290 – 350kg depending on the chosen set up and equipment.
